What Is Three White Soldiers?

Bullish reversal pattern: three consecutive long-bodied bullish candles.

Three White Soldiers is the bullish mirror of Three Black Crows: three consecutive long-bodied green (bullish) candles, each opening within the previous body and closing near the day's high. The pattern signals a strong handoff from sellers to buyers, typically appearing at the end of a downtrend or consolidation.

The most reliable instances form after a clear downtrend or after consolidation breaks. Each candle's close should be near its high (small upper wick), confirming buyer commitment. Volume should expand on each successive soldier — declining volume warns of an exhausted move rather than a genuine reversal.

Common entry: long on the close of the third soldier or on a confirming follow-through. Stop-loss below the low of the first soldier. Combined with other bullish signals (rising RSI, MACD bullish cross, volume expansion), the pattern's predictive value rises significantly.
