Free Forex Pip Value Calculator
A pip is the smallest standard price increment in forex — usually 0.0001 (or 0.01 for JPY pairs). The dollar value of a pip depends on the lot size and the quote currency. Enter your lot size and pair details below — the calculator returns the value of one pip in USD.

How to use this calculator
How pip values work:
- Standard lot = 100,000 units of base currency. On EUR/USD, 1 pip ≈ $10.
- Mini lot = 10,000 units. 1 pip ≈ $1.
- Micro lot = 1,000 units. 1 pip ≈ $0.10.
- Nano lot = 100 units. 1 pip ≈ $0.01.
For non-USD-quoted pairs (e.g. EUR/GBP), pip value is calculated in the quote currency and then converted to USD using the current exchange rate to USD. For JPY pairs, the pip increment is 0.01 instead of 0.0001 because of how the yen is quoted.
Use case: Position sizing. If your max risk per trade is $100 and your stop is 30 pips, you need pip value to be $3.33 — that's about 3.3 mini lots on EUR/USD.
